On Sunday 5 January 2020 we once again entertained our friends at Re-engage (formerly Contact the Elderly) at their late Christmas Party at Manor Hill House. Lots of laughs, singing and dancing was enjoyed by all, and we even got in the local paper! Read the full article in the Redditch Standard by clicking on the picture.
Continuing our busy weekend we recorded four of our favourite tracks at Load Street Studios in Bewdley. A fabulous experience for us all, many thanks to the guys for making us sound so good.
Lots of fun was had on Saturday 19 October at Bodenham Arboretum where we performed for a packed house in support of Take Heart, the Wyre Forest Heart Support Group. Good music, great laughs, good food and very energetic guest conductors!!!
Sunday 22 September saw us play in the beautiful setting of Manor Hill House just outside Bromsgrove for Contact the Elderly Redditch & Bromsgroves' Late Summer Lunch Party. Think it's safe to say everyone had a great time, our special thanks go to our impromptu choir singing We'll meet again.
Thank you to everyone at Lowestone Court in Kinver for letting us entertain you on 11 August. We're glad the rain stayed away and a little big of boogie' woogie could be fitted into the afternoon!
Exactly one year since our first public performance we had a great day performing for the crowds in Jubilee Gardens for the Cherry Fair/40's weekend. Our music may have not always strictly reflected the 40's theme of the day but everyone had a great time. Thank you for inviting us.
Great fun was had on Sunday 9 June, where we had a blast playing at Hogarth's Stone Manor Hotels Big Band Afternoon Tea event in aid of Acorns Children's Hospice. We're pleased to have entertained the afternoon tea'ers and helped to raise £150 for the hospice.
Our second at home concert on Saturday 9 March at the St Ambrose Centre was a blast, we throughly enjoyed your company.

On February 11 we were invited to play at the Midlands Art Centre, Birmingham at their 'Tea with a Twist' event. It was a great afternoon in an excellent environment......and the tea and scones were much appreciated. Good music, great audience and great food....what more does a big band need!
We performed our first own full concert on Saturday 20 October at the St Ambrose Parish Centre in Kidderminster. So many people came out to support us at our first 'at home' gig. Lots of good music, laughter and some amazing dancing made it a great evening. Thank you for supporting us.
We helped to say Happy 50th Birthday to Sanders Park in Bromsgrove on 16 September. We were honoured to be part of such a fun day which featured The Peas, Steve Kaos, Artrix Songstars Choir and numerous local organisations. Thank you for inviting us to be part of the celebration.
We were proud to be asked to perform our first public gig at a glorious garden party at Winterdyne House on 21 July in aid of Cure Leukemia. Thank you for having us it was a wonderful afternoon.
