Exciting new events...

​

2023 kicked off with us being invited to play at the Malvern Spring Show at the Three Counties Showground. We had a lovely day playing there, in the sun, and got great feedback from the audience, so was a good start to the year.

​

We continued our support for local charities, playing at a fundraising event in Worcester, in aid of Acorn Hospice, which was very well supported, and raised over £2500 for Acorn, and also at a fundraising village garden party in Chetton, Shropshire, which was brilliantly supported by the village, and was probably one of the most picturesque venues we will ever play in.

We once again play at Bewdleys 1940s weekend, which, as always, was very well supported, and we again managed to miss the rain (only just!) with lots of dancing in the audience, and very receptive crowd and also at Sanders Park in Bromsgrove , playing in their bandstand, as part of their 'Bands in the Park' series. We always enjoy playing there, and it always draws a big audience.

We once again hosted our own concert, at Stourport Manor Hotel again, this year with a bigger  dance floor. Our concert again sold out, and our mix of classic big band music, along with some rock and roll, and again was a very successful evening, enjoyed by the audience and band alike!
