The sun shone (mostly)...

We once again started our year by supporting a local charity, this year we performed a fundraising concert for St Richards Hospice, which was well supported by the community, and a great fundraiser for their vital work.

We then returned to the RHS Malvern Spring Show. A great venue and event, and a lovely sunny day. The band were supported by a huge audience, and even had the opportunity to buy a couple of plants so a thoroughly enjoyable day

We played in both Droitwich and Bromsgrove as part of the 'Bands in the Park' events, both of which were brilliantly supported and prove how popular these local events are in the communities. Once again the sun shone, and the audiences came in force with their chairs and picnics, both events greatly enjoyed by the band.

We played at the Bewdley Cherry Fair again, and our luck ran out with the weather. For the first year, it wasn't sunny!  However, we weren't deterred, and played in their barn, with a very dedicated audience still watching us in the courtyard. albeit with coats and umbrellas in case of rain! â€‹

We finished the year by hosting our annual Evening of Big Band concert. We returned to Bewdley this year, and performed at St Georges Hall.  The event sold out,  we filled the hall, even needing extra chairs which was brilliant. The audience created a llively atmosphere for the evening, and the band had a great evening entertaining them. We received amazing feedback after the event, which made it a perfect way to end the year!!!
