 2024

Busy Busy Busy...

2024 turned out to be a busy year for the band, playing a range of venues across the region.

We started the year hosting a concert in Kidderminster, in aid of Parkinsons UK, which was brilliantly supported by the local community, raising over £2000. The audience were a delight, and the band had a great evening.

We followed that with a concert in Cleobury Mortimer, in the beautiful St Marys Church. It was again well supported by the community and was a lively evening, which the band thoroughly enjoyed. We again played at the Bewdley Cherry Fair in July, and again, brought the sun with us, and again had a large audience enjoying an afternoon of music in the sun.

We went slightly further afield for our next event, playing in Knighton in Teme for a charity garden party. Whilst the weather was probably one of the windiest performances we've done, the audience all braved the weather, and the cake was superb! Next stop was Alverley, playing at the 3 Horseshoes pub. A brilliantly warm afternoon, and a great audience, once again enjoying the sun.

We ended the year playing in the Droitwich bandstand, a gig that the band always enjoy, and always draws a good crowd. The final event of the year was our own concert in Stourport Manor Hotel, which, once again was a sell out, with lots of audience dancing and engagement with the larger dance floor once again filled with people. We even snuck in a couple of Christmas pieces, which were a great addition to the set.
